Does anyone know how exactly this works?

Is it similar to ordering it over the phone with Rogers where they will ship one out to you and you set it up at home with iTunes, or will they open the iPhone in the store and set it up for you?

I prefer to set it up myself, so thats why I'm asking. Those 'geniuses' are quite rough when it comes to handling certain products.

Thanks for the help!

I think you can only buy them at Rogers or Fido, at least thats the way it use to be.

Thats what I thought, but Apple sent me an email reminding me the iPhone 3GS is coming out on Friday (bastards always trying to get me to buy more stuff, lol), and when I followed the link, it shows Apple retail store as a location where you can purchase, I have a tentative appointment scheduled.

I think I may just call and order it through Rogers.

Interesting I got the same email too. Hope they do that for the 4G next year.
