Buying iphone 4 under same account

I just called WalMart and they have one iphone 4 left so I gotta be fast. I'm on a family plan and my sister has an upgrade but I do not. Can I go into WalMart and use her upgrade (since we are on the same Acct) and just make a sim card with my phone number? I know my friend used to always do this on his family account but it was at an AT&T store.

What yall think?
