are there other genuine apple partner/carrier from whom I can buy an unlocked iphone4 at full price? i'm in the states, so it will need to be shipped to the USA.

Apple Australia also sells unlocked iPhones, just so you know. Maybe check Australian Ebay?

No, they are highly stocked out. People have been queueing pretty much every morning trying to get one that day with no success. The waiting list is weeks long. Best bet is to go to somewhere not too far from London, such as Cambridge.
