Buying iPhone 6+ Question

Hello everyone

I'm not in the U.S. and I found an iPhone 6+ in Amazon for sale. As I have spoken to the seller he told me that he bought it from an Apple Store and its a sim free iPhone Model A1522 Gsm. I tried to look over the threads and didn't get a good answer about it being unlocked and can work out of the U.S.

There is some over here in my country but the price is too high ATM as a low stock or even none and it won't be available for almost 30-45 days. Should I proceed with the purchase or should I wait?!

wait it out , imo paying a huge extra price is not worth it ; supposedly the iPhones will be released to 115 countries by the end of the year , so if you live in a relatively populated country you should be fine

It's not that populated, only 2.5m

What if I really, really want it and worried that it won't work?
I saw a lot of threads about t mobile and tried to get it from Apple online but I have to wait till November to get it. That might be the safest method I should go with!
