So I bought an iPhone 7 soon after release last year on the UK iPhone Upgrade Programme. I'm eligible for an upgrade and have my mind set on upgrading to the iPhone 8/iPhone Edition/Pro etc. Current rumours are pointing towards an announcement on Tuesday, preorders on Friday and shipment (of iPhone 8) at some point in October. This phone is clearly going to be in incredibly short supply and I'm interested in peoples' opinions on how an Upgrade Programme customer can have the best chance of getting one...I know they have to be bought in store so preordering is out of the question. Perhaps US Upgrade Programme customers may have some thoughts as I know its been running there for a while.
