Buying iPhone in Canada at Apple store.. unlocked?

Hey all,

I just FINALLY managed to reserve a 4S at a canadian apple store. Can I buy it fully unlocked, or will they only sell it if it's on a carrier? I have one on order from Apple, but it's still a week away from shipping.

lucky you! I've been trying for almost a week now to reserve the iPhone from Apple.ca and no luck!

Canadian Apple Stores ONLY sell unlocked. So you're okay.

Canadian Apple Store sells Unlocked phones at $649, $749 and $849

You can also sign up new carrier contract or do a renewal with them to get the locked phones with the 199, 299, 399 price

Just let them know which route you want to go with when you get there
