Hi ,
I am interested on purchasing an Iphone 5s and an Ipad mini Retina still packaged never opened from the same seller on craigslist. I have asked as many questions as possible to the seller regarding this purchase. He seems legit and just looking to unload a few extra purchases he had made.
Is there anything that I should look for once I open the boxes for the first time (both iphone and ipad will be opened face to face). I just want to make sure not to be scammed out of over $1k.
Thanks

Before you buy it, verify the IMEI/ESN of the iPhone through the carrier. Here in the US people will list iPhones on CL and then report them stolen after they made the purchase. Unfortunately, the buyer is then screwed and has a nice brick.

Thanks. How about the Ipad ?. Could I do the same.

The ipad is wifi and LTE (in case this info is needed).

Thanks

In that case verifying the imei doesn't help much. My advice to the OP is don't buy it. Seems you don't know what you are doing. People like you will easily get scammed.
