Buying Iphone Question

I just recently bought a second iphone after successfully unlocking my first 4gb one. I bought the second one so that I could sell the first one and make a bit of profit since i bought it for 300 in order to upgrade to an 8gb. Since 1.1.2 still cant be unlocked, do you guys think it was a good move to buy now before 1.1.3 came out or do you guys think it will be a while for it to come out and still be unlockable? Thanks
