i just won a auction, its almost like new perfect condition iphone 3gs 16gb for 400, is it worthy?
the phone is running ios4.0, and the seller claims that its unlocked and jailbroken, but i heard people said that ios4.0 cant be unlocked yet.
it comes with receipt, and stuff, what else information should i get?

i dont think 4.0 can be unlocked or jailbroken. but i could be wrong.

Ask him to show you a picture of the Iphone with Cydia installed, while also showing you the version its running..

And while all this to have your name on a piece of paper as the background.

nice idea, thank you

btw, the iphone he purchased 6months ago

Also ask where it was purchased from. Some countries (like Australia) sell iPhones factory unlocked.

okay, he purchased the phone 6months ago, so it was previously old version, but now its running ios4
so is it possible to unlock the iphone?

Be careful, some eBay sellers say "unlock/jailbreak-ready", or just outright lie about this.
