Buying iTunes songs from a different country's store...?

Hey guys, I was wondering if you can buy songs from a different country's iTunes store using my regular iTunes account hooked up to my American $$ debit card...Will I be able to do this? I was planning on getting a album that comes out in the sweedish store in a few days because it wont come out in the US store for another week.

I think you can do it by using a gift card.

Ok thanks...I'll see if I have a card that I can get my hands on...The currency of the sweedish store was something I've never seen and I didn't want it to be converted into like $10 per song, but I figured that wouldn't be the case
