Buying iWorks

was wondering if it would be worth buying iWorks now or will there be a new version coming soon?

iWorks 09 is about 18 months old and an update is due soon, I would think. I would wait if I were you...

Steve has been using new effects in his keynotes. That is a good sign that a new iWork is coming. I would wait unless you need it.

Shouldn't hurt to wait. It should be coming soon, since MS Office 2011 isn't too far off on the horizon.
