Hello all,

I'm interested in buying a last-gen Unibody MBP and wanted to get a clear answer from you fine folks. I'm trying to decide whether to get the 15" 2.66 (Early '09) uMBP (Rev. F) or the 17" 2.66 uMBP (Rev. F). The deciding factor for me is on the amount of RAM the machines can handle without going crazy.

I found the buying guide for the MBP (http://guides.macrumors.com/MacBook_Pro#Rev._F) and saw that the guide listed both the 15" 2.66 (Early '09) uMBP (Rev. F) or the 17" 2.66 uMBP (Rev. F) supported a max of 8 GB RAM (where as the late '08 15" uMBP unofficially supported 6GB of RAM but had problems with anything more).

So am I safe to assume that the 15" 2.66 (Early '09) uMBP (Rev. F) officially supports 8GB of RAM? If so, I will make my decision to purchase the 15" over the 17". Thanks for all the help everyone!
