Buying Mac Pro w/ ADC Student discount.

Hi all,


I'm a student and right now i'm doing web design and development. As well as some music creation. And I plan on getting into 3D modeling and animation. As well as video editing.

Right now i'm working with a power mac g4 that I have upgraded to the max and it is NOT getting the job done. I guess i've outgrown it. And now i'm ready to upgrade to the new Mac Pro.

But as a student, my funds are sort of limited. Is it a good Idea to get the apple developer student discount vs the regular student discount. I know there is a seperate store just for developers also, does this store include the mac pro?

Yes, it is worth getting. The store does have the Mac Pro. The quad 2.66 starts at $1,999 in the ADC store. Just wait til after Friday to enroll in the student ADC so you will get a copy of SL.

Doesn't matter. If you're in student ADC you get a free copy of SL when it comes out.
 
i would recommend getting a new macbook. It will save you LOTS of time and energy! How long did you have your macbook for?
