I feel like I know the answer, but I'd like confirmation:

I live in the US and from time to time, travel to Canada. If I decide to buy a MacBook Air in Canada (e.g., if tariffs make US-purchased MacBook Air too costly), does it mean I cannot get any warranty repairs done in the US? Does it also mean that I cannot get support from Apple in the US and will have to turn to Apple Canada?

I feel like the answer is: yes, I cannot get AppleCare repairs done in the US and will have to find a way to get the computer to Canada for that; but, I can still get support (non physical kind) for the computer with Apple USA.

Thanks for your help!

Apple offers global warranty repairs for new devices; but if the country you are in can't repair your device, it would be sent to another country to repair (that's how it WAS, pre-orange President)

I've never heard of a device being "sent to another country to repair" (other than in countries where repair service isn't offered at all) - but parts may need to get sent IN to complete the repair, which can certainly cause delays. The most common example is top-case; getting a part with the proper localization keyboard caps & arrangement.
