Hi,

My friend is a teacher in Hong Kong and I'll be using his education discount to buy 15' Macbook Pro. I was wondering if there is special access like in UK to offer the discount or are all education discount based on their Education page?

I was curious and checked out through HK Education site and it did not require any form of proof of anything.

Why is Applecare £120 more expensive in HK than UK through education discount?! Will I be better off buying applecare in UK after my Macbook purchase in HK?
Perhaps going in store with my friend to purchase can get special discount on applecare or maybe it'll be same price as online..

Thanks!
