Hello everyone, I am considering buying a macbook pro from a famous website:

The discounted price is 1085 pounds (was 1299). It looks different from the usual 1299 pounds model that I have seen in almost every shop. Is it an older model? (They claim mid 2017)
How is it different from the usual 1299 model, which comes with just one USBc port instead?
I am not looking for the latest model, I just expect to buy the right model, with the specifics above, without any surprise. Thanks.

"Famous website"?

Not sure we can help... Apple's model numbers are typically MxxxxLL/A... there's an MPXQ2LL/A that indeed is a 2017 13" MBP with these specs ... perhaps the model number is a revision of some sort...

Beyond that, I cannot tell what this "famous website" is selling. If you're hung up on the photo, it could be that this "famous website" using a stock photo of some sort and not a photo of the actual MacBook Pro that they are selling... if that's the case, it's possible that they are using the wrong photo, either accidentally (confusion) or intentionally.

I am not sure if I can mention this website here, however the seller on this website is an Apple re-seller with many almost positive feedbacks only... looks like I can trust it.
I am not even considering the photo, it's he standard macbook pro one. Thanks for your answer. If anyone else knows which model it is, let me know.

The one that you see at the site seems legit 2017 MacBook Pro.
That model has 2 Thunderbolt3/USB-C ports. The only Mac with only one USB-C port is the 12-inch MacBook, which would have a completely different set of specs, too.

The LL/A suffix is some sort of region code. Apple equipment released in other markets can have different suffixes. As the OP gave a price in pounds, I suspect they are not in the USA...
