Buying MBP from Amazon? Warranty?

Hello! I have been doing some searching and haven't been able to find a specific answer to my question. I plan on buying a Macbook Pro 2.4GHz 15.4" from Amazon. My question is this: Is the standard 1-year hardware and 90-day technical support valid? I have read where Apple has serviced computers purchased from Amazon, but was sure if this was something definite or not.

Yes you get the full Apple warranty. You can bring it into any Apple store and talk to a mac genius if any problems. You can still get the Apple care extended warranty within a year of purchasing your Apple computer.

that right, you get it, but only if you buy it from amazon directly, but If you use the merchants they maybe open box, the best way is to ask for the serial numer and tipe it in the apple page.
