Just a quick one - I recently bought a CTO MBP from the UK Apple Store, and it took 2 weeks to arrive because it came from China.

But, when products say "Shipping: 24hrs", does that mean that it'll be delivered to me within 24-48 hours? If not, how long should I expect a "24 hour" item to take to get to my door, from when I place the order?

Thanks!

Bought an iMac for work that way back in November and it only took about 3 days total.

Cool, thanks. The reason I'm asking is because I NEED a MBP for some live audio work on Sat 1st March. So, I'm waiting until the rumoured "event" on the 26th to see if there are new ones. Then I'll have to get one from somewhere to put me on somehow, if the Penryns aren't shipping immediately (doubtful).

So, if I order on the night of Tues 26th Feb, would you expect to have it (an old one) by Friday? I guess I could phone up the next day to see. Or just get one from a physical Apple Store, but then they have a 10% re-stocking fee I believe (as opposed to a £60 transportation charge I'd get online for returning it). Hmm...
