Buying MBP in DE

So I have biz travel to Delaware so I thought I may finally get the 15" MBP Base model for my son.

Education Discount AND *no tax*.

My question: If I had to every exchange it within 14 days where I live (not tax free) am I good or will I be charged tax on the exchange ?

You would be liable for tax on an exchange if done out of state. There is no real way around it as an exchange is a return and new sale at the store.

You won’t have any issues returning to any Apple Store though.

Good plan though. I picked up mine in DE and saved close to $300 in taxes.
