You're asking if the educational discount applies to you if you buy at a USA AppleStore? Don't know. But you can put this one to rest yourself, if you don't want to believe what anyone here "speculates" -- pick up the phone or send an email to Apple and find out.

I'm pretty sure they don't do that. But you can try (i think it also could matter what person is helping you).
At least it'll be cheaper than in Holland already

Student ID or Class Schedule will get you the student discount in person at any apple-store.... Betcha anything.

I've seen people get it without any proof, they are very lenient.

Hell you can order it online in the U.S with no proof straight to your home address. (In The U.S)
