I have been using a 17" unibody with the LED cinema display for work. I recently picked up a bargain air (the latest 2.13Ghz with SSD) and that is covering the "mobile" bases so to speak. I want to replace the 17" with a Mac Pro that I can just leave on the desktop for the office.
My questions:
1. I obviously want to still use my LED (mini DP) display. If I go with an older pro i.e 07, 08 is there a graphics card upgrade I can perform so I can have mini DP?
2. I'm not overly fussed whether it's the latest and greatest 09 unless this is really the one to go for. Which one should I get? I've been looking at the base spec 09 model but would consider others if they're better VFM.
3. Do the older Pros make use of the new snow leopard technologies? i.e 64 bit, grand central, OpenCL?
