Buying New Macbook at Apple Store

Hey guys and girls,

I am looking to purchase my 2nd mac. The first one I just bought on whim last year, wasn't waiting for a refresh. I am wanting to pick up a new Macbook at my local Apple Store. In the experiences everyone has had in the past do they get them today and release tomorrow, or get them tomorrow and release when they get them? Basically I am looking for earliest and most opportune time to make the 20 min drive. Thanks!

Btw, I am in Oklahoma City.
