Please stop me and tell me I’m crazy. Im planning to buy the newest maxed out iPhone in hopes to take better product pictures and video clips for e-commerce website.

I got this idea that the newest one will magically help solve lighting, focus, and other picture issues. I have high end DSLR but have no idea how to use it.

I’m I right to think the the newest iPhone would be very helpful? Does it have some AI that goes into magically making pictures looking better by actually adjusting the shot ?

Thank you all !

I have a Sony rx100 m6 camera 24-200 zoom range. I’m finding it is getting less use. It still beats iPhone in terms of control and low light/night photos.

But if you want just something casual to upload to the web, you don’t need the max pro. Just get the regular 16 but if you want the 5x zoom range. Just get a regular pro.

Spend some time playing with your DSLR. Once you get the hang of it it’s easy to use. And it’s superior to any iPhone

I tend to believe that quality indoor dslr shots will absolutely require special lighting; while I also think that the iPhone AI behind the lens somehow adjusts the lighting and just make a poor shot better ?

There is no magical AI fixing missing light or skills.

If u need this for your profession take a seminar for product pictures. In a half day you will learn everything. And yes lighting is essential.
Way cheaper than a new phone
