Anyone call their local Apple stores to see if they have the new MBP's in their stores? When buying at an Apple store, do you still get the educational discount and ipod nano deal for students? If I wanted to get a 17'' model with 7200 hard drive, 4gb of ram, and the updated widescreen, is that something you can buy in the store? Or will I need to order online to get these upgraded features?

Educational discounts are offered in store.

Usually customizable options are only available through the website, although some stores have been known to carry a few customized versions.

I just got off the phone with Apple and they claimed that the new MBP's won't be available in stores for at least another week :(
