Hi, am in the market for a macbook or macbook pro. I dont need the latest model, but im having trouble finding places that sell the older outdated models. I could do 2nd hand on ebay but i prefer new / refurbished.

Does anyone know of any shops / websites in the UK that sell them? Or do apple just recall older models to prevent this kind of thing and control the market?

Have a look at apples refurb section, they've been doing macbooks at £530.

yeah, ill keep checking but currently they only have the macbook pro - cheapest is 999, more than my budget. I really dont need the newest model, i'd do with the one before, or the one before that, (though i would like a superdrive)

UK store normally updates around 1am, most of the good buys seem to be gone by mid day.
