Hi all,

I have an Australian credit card, but would like to purchase a prepaid credit card here in Canada to purchase a MacBook Pro here. I want to do it this way, so I dont lose out on fees associated with wiring money back to my Australian Credit Card - not to mention last time i did this, it was a real pain because of the international billing address.

Does anyone know the least painful card to get here in Hamilton/Toronto that will work with the Apple online Store?

I should mention that I also want to use my developer discount, and im not sure if that will be accepted in store - otherwise Id just buy with cash at the Apple store in Toronto.

Cheers in advance for any advice

I have no idea whether or not they work, but just about every gas station around me (Esso, Shell, etc) has prepaid mastercards. However, the largest denomination I've seen is $100 so you'd have to refill immediately. Also, I believe there is a $6 transaction fee for the $100 card.
