Buying other carrier phones and using them on Tmobile

If an iPhone 6 is in stock for another carrier at the Apple Store, any way to buy it for use on Tmobile?

Assuming that is possible, can I buy a Verizon iPhone and use it on Tmobile, and then switch to Verizon and use that phone?

Yes, you can use a VZW iPhone 6/6+ on Tmobile. I went with VZW, stuck with them rather, because I understood that it gave me more carrier options. I called both Apple and VZW and they confirmed that you can go from VZW to Tmobile and back but if you get an AT&T phone, you cannot get to VZW on it. If that makes sense. That last part could be wrong...hell, I could be wrong all together.
