Hi,

I am thinking of buying the new iphone and i have some questions.

I am currently @ vacation and I was thinking of asking a friend in UK on buying the iphone on my behalf (unlocked from Apple).
In case of something goes wrong with the actual device can I just go to an apple store in UK and have it repaired or does the actual buyer has to go?

If that's the case can I order it online and have it deliver to my friends address? so that the actual purchase has my name on it.

Thanks for your time.

after it's in your hands, it's yours and that's that. If you can have him buy it for you, that's awesome. I wish i had a friend in UK that would have bought mine for me and shipped it to me. :( lucky!!!!

Isn't it logged in their database or something the owner of the device?

I find this strange especially for things like iphones & macbooks that can be easily be stolen.
