Hey All! Just a quick PSA/rant

I’ve googled this but haven’t seen much info. I’ve been searching for a used series 1 Apple Watch for the last few days on eBay. I would say about 40-50% of “series 1” listings for auction on eBay (specifically from individuals/previous owners) are in fact first gen/series 0 watches. Here are some signs the item may be mislabeled for anyone else in the same boat:

-The model number (duh) if listed
-The box: series 0 watches included a wall adapter, series 1 did not
-Photos of the back of the watch: Series 1 and beyond have text around the heart rate sensor that says “Series X”. Series 0 list the screen size and “7000 series aluminum”. No reference to series number.

Just found this interesting because it’s incredibly prevalent. More so than any other tech product I’ve looked for used. I actually won an auction before realizing it was Series 0 and not Series 1. I even found a series 2 watch that was listed as series 1 and sold for a lot less than it could have.

Buyer beware. Do your homework before beginning your search.

Alot of confusion on the market because the sellers are not paying attention when listing these items or are simply misconstruing them for the wrong Apple Watch model. If somebody was also wasn't sure which model they would be receiving, always request for additional pictures/information from the seller.
