Hello,

I own a MacBook Pro 13-inch, Mid 2012 GB 1600 MHz DDR3.

I want to upgrade the RAM to 16 GB if possible and buy an SSD disk.

Which model and type of RAM memory should I buy? Which SSD disk should I buy?

Looking for best budget variants.

What would you recommend?

I generally use Crucial for RAM because I find them to be very consistent, and reasonably priced
I agree the Samsung Evo and Crucial MX300 are good choices for your SSD. These are fast, reliable, and proven platforms.

If price is a lesser of a factor, the Samsung 850 Pro is arguably the Ferrari of SSDs - using premium 3D MLC NAND with the best warranty, fastest speeds (kind of a moot point as they are all fast), and best endurance. The SanDisk Extreme Pro was a (2D) MLC-based SSD that was very well liked, and SanDisk recently discontinued it - you can sometimes find them on closeout specials.
