Hey,
I recently bought a 128 SODIMM retail for a G3 iBook. This roughly cost 99 dollars in CDN funds. I entered the part number in Google and found this page:
http://www.memoryx.net/19k4652.html
Oddly enough, this memory is listed as a part for an IBM Thinkpad, a PC laptop.
My question is, are PC RAM chips compatable with Mac motherboards provided the specs are similar/identical? Are Mac users being charged a premium because they believe they are getting memory specific to their computer model?
Regards,
Jason
