I was wondering if buying through Apple would come quicker? It says (Delivers 26th to the 28th) and Best Buy says Delivers (26th). When you order through Apple does it usually come quicker than that for those who may have ordered recently?

TLDR - What's more reliable, and is there a chance I'd get it on Monday or Tuesday if I ordered tonight? Thanks!

I would order from Apple. Apple tends to be very conservative with their dates and you're pretty much guaranteed to get it when they say. Best Buy isn't as reliable. Plus, they're at the mercy of Apple supplying inventory. They can't ship it to you if they don't have it. :)

That's true. Thank you! I'm currently trying Target or even the att store, sooner the better. However I have a return phone still being shipped back and AT&T would let me do it at the store last time that happened. So might stick to the online ordering and wait it out.

Apple. Best buy will secretly raise the price....at least from hearing people's complaint.

Best Buy price matches though, although it would be best if they had lower prices.
You have to ask for that price match otherwise uninformed buyers would buy it without noticing that they're getting ripped.

I caved in and ordered with Apple. Never ordered a product other than once through them and it arrived late. Wish me luck!

My brother wants to get IP8 from Best Buy as he has $500 in gift cards and rewards. He has TMob- Can buy the (unlocked) Verizon version outright (after $100 price match) and just insert his TMob SIM to use it? Or, does he activate the Verizon phone using an active/used Verizon sim before he puts his TMob sim for it be totally unlocked? TIA

You can try, but make sure to get price matched with apple's price.

Correct. The first thing I do if buying something from Best Buy is check Wal-Mart, Amazon, Target, etc. The catch is that it must be shipped and sold by Amazon for them to match Amazon's price.

Do they even mention that in BIG LETTERS? Or is this something you have to carefully read?

Thanks, but will the Verizon model work on TMob? Does he need a Verizon sim to unlock it or can he put his Tmob sim right away.
