I am buying a Macbook Pro from a person on ebay tomorrow. He said the model number was A1278, does anybody know if this is the 2009 or 2010 model? What are the main differences between the two? I was planning to upgrade the RAM to 8GB and hard drive to 1TB. Would there be any major speed differences if I did this on the base 2009 and base 2010 models?

Thanks! :D

It actually be a model released as early as 2008. You should get detailed specs as differences include processor speed, std RAM, and graphics chip.
