Buying Unlocked, Verizon, ATT ???

Pondering purchase on unlocked iPhone5. Currently have ATT iPhone 4

1. Would like to subscribe to Straight Talk when their issues with nano are resolved.

2. Frequently travel to Sweden and would like to use phone their with a local carrier.

3. No in any great hurry and will probably wait for Apple to sell the unlocked phone.

4. Is it best to go ATT (GSM) or Verizon (CDMA)

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
