Hey,
I'm talking to someone that's selling a used att iPhone 11 that's paid off (they said they can provide a receipt), that I'm looking to get as a gift.

I'm wondering two things:
1. If it's available on Sprint if it's not unlocked? (I don't have Sprint but my gf does).
I checked the sprint imei and ting imei and it says able so that actually is a good sign but I'm just curious in general.

2. If it somehow isn't paid off and it gets blacklisted and its active on sprint, does that mean the phone will stop working?

I the current owner bought it directly from Apple then it should be unlocked. If he bought it from AT&T it may be locked, but since its paid off he should be able to request that it by unlocked prior to selling it to you and provide some sort of proof. Also can check the IMEI on the AT&T site to verify it is unlocked. More info at this website:

You can also try using this tool on Swappa:

If it's paid off, is there any way it can get black listed on ATT?
