Hi,

I want to get a 13" (non-retina) pro for my wife and found a good offer second hand. One worry of buying second hand is of course potential liquid damage that might effect the long term functioning of the machine.

I have found a very useful image that shows the LCI placements under the back plate - see below and also the ones under the keyboard. Couple of questions:

1. Is it easy to see if they have been triggered?
2. Is there an easy way (i.e. without dismantling too much which the seller might not agree to) to get to see the ones under the keyboard?
3. Would anybody be able to post a picture which shows what a triggered one in a Macbook would look like?

Many many thanks for your help.
