Buying used macs

I've been looking at used minis and have found you might as well buy new. As most of these sites have much older/ underpowered machines but not much of a discount. The cheapest I've seen a decently specced used mini is like $525 and it's still under specced compared to the $599 entrance price from apple. You guys have any good places to buy that maybe i've missed? I've tried a lot of the places that have ads here on Mac rumors and haven't found anything decent.

Ebay seems to be a good place, but try the refurbished part of the store, you could find one, if they are in there, as they have a very high rate of selling them.
