Buying used watch

Looking to buy a used series 3 with cellular. Is there any way to verify it’s not stolen and can be used on cellular?? It does say Lte on back. I’m with Verizon but from what I’ve read it doesn’t matter the watches are interchangeable with providers???

Check the EISN on one of the online checkers. It will tell you if it's reported stolen, or hasn't been paid off (Blacklisted), or buy from a reliable source, ie. SWAPPA.COM. To list on there, the watch has to be legit, with no encumberences.
Above all, I would NOT buy from E-bay, I've been ripped off way to much to buy anything of importance on that site.
