I am just trying to get all of the information into one thread b.c I think it is important people know this year may be different in regards to which phones work on which network.
Historically the SIM free version of the iPhone is not available at launch, and you can only purchase the t-mobile variant during launch online for full price unless you are post-paid. For example, it will not let you buy the verizon iPhone at full retail price without a verizon account. You would have to go in store to do that.
It seems like things may be different this year and any phone will work on any network. It will not matter if you already have an active account or not. I have seen some people confirm activating a t-mobile iPhone on verizon with a new line.
What are people's thought on this? Reason I ask if b.c I usually buy the verizon model or wait for the SIM free, do you think it might not matter this go around?
