hey, as my previous powerbook got a new problem everyday. i am very suspicious of anything on my MBP now. i asked couple of you the below question, but wanted to put it out here to... thanks in advance!

when i do the "test" suggested by another member in an earlier thread (see below quote), it shows that i do have the buzz sound because even not loud the sound disappears when i open the photobooth. and, it is from the microphone section. on the left side.

the buzz sound also is more obvious when the MBP is on charger. the buzz is much less when it is working on battery.

so does this mean there is something wrong with the LogicBoard? what does this mean?

thanks!!
Begum

yes, feeling new to the mac since my powerbook was all the time in repair. never got to use it

you can try the following, at first i thought i didnt have the "whine" or buzzing sound, but go into a quiet room and listen to your computer, then open PhotoBooth or a Mirror widget (anything that gets a feed from the iSight) and listen again, if you have the buzz/whine it will have gone away, and if you hear no change, then you dont have it.

i usually hear a buzzing from the left side of the MBP when not getting a feed from the iSight
