I typically use my phone for both media consumption and taking video and pictures. Granted there's nothing new about the viewing screen albeit slightly larger, I'm wondering how drastic the change to the cameras will be. Part of me is tempted to hold onto the 11 Pro Max and skip this generation hoping that the 13th iteration will have the better cameras and OIS across ALL phones next year and possibly getting a smaller one with the better camera. I'm on the iPhone Upgrade Program so it shouldn't be hard financially but also if I could own my phone outright despite marginal changes that would be swell too.

But a better OIS, larger sensor, bigger screen, lidar, and all the rest. I just don't know. What say you all?

Of course the specs are better on a 12PM compared to a 11PM but I believe it all comes down to if you want it or need it.

The specs are what they are. Is there anything that the 12PM can do that a 11PM can’t do realistically?

Maybe it should come down to just wanting a new device. There’s nothing wrong in that. I went from a XSM to 11PM because I wanted the green color. I’m thinking about getting a 12 PM for the Pacific Blue.

If the specs on the 12PM are important get it for the specs or get it for the color. Either way it’s all good.

Specs, for all intent and purposes don’t mean much, if you don’t make use of the new tech or can’t really tell the difference between last year and this year’s model.

Try the new phone for 14 days and make a decision. If you can’t see a noticeable improvement from what you already have, return it.

More than likely, you won’t be overly impressed as the difference won’t be as noticeable, with a newer phone.
