Bye bye Switcheasy Neo, Hello ????

hey all-

it's almost one year to the day that I bought the Switcheasy Neo Capsule for my wife and myself. My wife's white neo is now faded yellow and cracked at the charger. My black is scratched to hell and the lower portion near the charger has cracked and disappeared which pretty much renders the case useless since it no longer clamps onto the phone.

we're looking for two new cases with the following requirements.

1. Must fit over the invishield/BSE - but these can be removed if the case is *that* good.
2. Must be durable. We've got a 3yr old and a 1yr old who love dropping the phone for fun. Without these, dining out be much more difficult.

I had tried the Otterbox and may get another, but it was way too utilitarian for the wife.

Are the Neo/Capsule my only choices here? I don't mind - but would like to try something new.

I guess since it might be (hard for me to think about) dropped then you need something tough. The otterbox works for you then i'd go with that, your wife might like a speck candy shell. It keep the same form while adding a little bulk, but has overall good drop protection.

fitting with the a skin i have not tried myself but i it might work since the inside is silicone with a little give. With the skin i'm sure it will fit "tighter". Maybe someone else on here has tried.

The candyshell will fit with a skin on. You may also want to check out otterbox's new commuter case, its very similar to the capsule neo with a little more protection and they are suppose to be coming out with quite a few colors for it.

I was also going to recommend the otterbox commuter case. I have not used it myself, but it seems to look good and like it would offer good protection without the bulky look of the defender. It should work with a skin in place.

speck pixel skin is great. try iskins revo cases. they give the most overall protection.

i really love my ifrogz luxe... however it won't fit over the invisishield....

the pink is a gorgeous shade!

You do know you can get the Otterbox in Pink right? Just thought i'd point that out. My youngest would love me to get a pink case, but that is so NOT going to happen! LOL!! I just wish you could get the yellow or white for the Touch.
