Macworld had an article about this earlier today, and I bit the bullet. $40 is a really good deal considering I think that's how much I paid for Red Alert 2 a decade ago.
If you do the download, which is what Macworld links to, let me warn you that it's slooooooooowwwwwwww. I'm on a 6Mb connection and I'm getting a whopping 86.5Kb/s download from Gametree. This is apparently going to take 24 hours for a 6.8GB download. Either they have crappy servers or there are a ton of people hammering them for the game.
I'll post back if I ever get the game downloaded and play it. FYI, you must have an Intel CPU and can't get away with the Intel GMA video. My MBP with the ATI 1600 is on the list of acceptable systems. I think anything newer that doesn't have the Intel GMA is fine. Make sure to check your system requirements before downloading!!!
