I'm currently running 10.4.9 on a 1ghz TiBook as my main home machine. I have a secondary machine (x86) that I use exclusively for .NET development (which is what I do for a living).

I'm wondering how VS .NET 2005 runs, if at all, on an MBP using Parallels? Anyone tried this?

aboslutely, mbp with parallels is gr8 for VS2005.
I run it daily for work, 2-4 VS2005 projects, SQL manager, and other software simultaneously on a 2GB MPB CD (700MB dedicated to parallels).

Same here, works fine with VS 2005 and SQL Server 2005 on XP with a MBP with 1GB RAM. I'd definitely advise you get 2GB though!

That's what I needed to hear! I develop in .Net for a living also and it'd be nice to know that i would be able to run Visual Studio well before I drop a couple grand on a new machine.
