I would like to see airborne ranger, jet set willy, test drive, the duel, and so many more. Until more games are added or available for in-app purchase I'm not too interested. I hope to see more gAMes :)

Agreed. Jet Set Willy! And Manic Miner.. I think those were about the only games I played on my C64 back in the day. Hmm, Maybe a spot of Zaxon & Elite too, now that I think about it..
I've barely heard of the games this C64 emu ships with :(

Great to get some feedback

Thanks for the feedback guys, we are constantly working on getting you the very best C64 games, Bards Tale will however be a bit difficult since Activision owns the copyrights, I don't think they are willing to share :).

But we are closing deals all the time and gametitles available for version 1.2 includes as of now: Paradroid, Uridium, Alleykat, Kikstart 1 & 2, Druid 1 & 2, Stormlord and Cyberdroid. Most of these games will be put into bundles for you to buy(0.99-1.99$) depending on the copyright owner. However, as mentioned we are giving you the classics Bruce Lee and Laser Squad for free.

Keep checking back for more news and don't forget to post the game title, you want the most!

Take care

New titles

Hey guys a couple of new titles, the great classic platformer Samurai Warrior will be free with version 1.2. Nebulus, a challenging puzzle game will also join the lineup as well as the sequel to Cybernoid. You can read much more about the games at Lemon.com, where you can also find all you old favourites from the C64.

Regarding M.U.L.E. it might be a little complicated to secure the deal, since the rights are owned by EA.

Keep checking back guys!

More than happy to pay for M.U.L.E if that's what it takes. Would imagine that EA would look favourably on getting some (any) money for, what is ineffect for them, a dead title. Keep working on them.

Any idea as to a date for 1.2 yet?

Cheers,
Kevin.

Hey Kevin

Of course you're right and as M.U.L.E. is one of the C64 greats, we will definitely explore the possibility, version 1.2 has been submitted, so it shouldn't be long, it's in the hands of Apple now :) keep an eye out at www.manomio.com or here, as I will post you immediately when the version becomes available.

Stay tuned!

Version 1.2 is here! C64 on sale 2.99$

And Christmas started early! C64 Version 1.2 is now online, filled with new features, tweaked controls and free games. By downloading you'll receive Bruce Lee, Laser Squad and Samurai Warrior for free, while you can shop for old classics in our more games feature. Currently, Apple has approved Nebulus, Alleykat, Uridium, Paradroid and Stormlord. However, a bunch of other titles will follow as soon as they are submitted and approved.

What does 1.2 feature? Well, besides the huge expansion of the games catalogue and the ability to buy games in-app, we've also made a couple of other additions and adjustments. The controls have been updated, so now you can choose which side you want the joystick to be placed. We've also added the ability to place the joystick as an icon, this way you'll get visual feedback during landscape mode. Furthermore, you no longer have to press and hold left to move left, you can just press around the left side of the joystick.
What else? Well, a great big part of the C64 was cheatcodes and we've made a cool little feature to help you finally beat that level in Paradroid. If the game has a trainer icon, you can flip on invincibility, infinite time or unlimited ammo, it all depends on the game.

Get the app here and now, as we are making an End of Year Sale, C64 is just 2.99$:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/commodore-64/id305504539?mt=8

From here on we'll continue to improve the C64, getting you a steady flow of new games all the time.

If you have any suggestions, feedback or just want to pad us on the back, please do so :)

Happy holidays everybody from Manomio and Kiloo

Where did Bruce Lee go??

If I can make a suggestion... mark previously purchased/downloaded titles as such.

Oh and, Epyx games! (Summer games, Winter Games etc.) Anything by Epyx was cool ;)

More info

Thanks for the kind words. It's actually 11 free games with the purchase of Commodore 64, so it is an even better deal :)

We are currently solving the issue with Bruce Lee. He will be back to kick ass ASAP.

A new version featuring OpenFeint, achievements and online leader boards has been submitted and will soon be available through AppStore, you can find more info here: http://manomio.com/index.php/blog/Let_the_world_championship_begin

@PhilMBP: Great suggestion, we are looking into it and will add it in a future update. Securing a deal for the Epyx games are top priority, they were among the best on the C64.

Thanks Kiloo. Keep up the good work. <thumbs up>

Drooling at thought of playing Epyx Winter Games on my iPhone...

Some more suggestions:

Great Gianna Sisters
Antiriad
IK+ (you know you have this ready since you showed it in one of the youtube videos :) )
Exploding Fist
Wizard of Wor
