I decided I want to upgrade to the 5s, can you still trade in your old iPhone at the Apple store and get store credit to put toward the new phone?

Yup, just stopped in a store yesterday. If they have a 5s in stock they will deduct the trade in value from the purchase. If you buy on line then do an in store pickup you will get Apple credit.

of course none of my 5 area stores have any stock anyway . . .
