I have the latest AppleTV with the usual apps like Hulu, Netflix, and cable apps like ESPN, ABC, etc. I have noticed that every few weeks I have to re-authenticate on all my cable apps.

I cut the cord and use DirecTV Now, which lets you use some tv apps with your credentials just like traditional cable.

Anyone have this issue? It's just the cable apps. Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime never have this problem. I entered it once and they held the login.

You will have to do that periodically and it's normal. However lately it's been much more frequent. I find I have to do it every week or two. Before it was every month.

Yes, this is normal. If you don't launch and use the apps for "a time" the cookies will expire and you'll have to re-authenticate. This shouldn't be as much of an issue with apps that support Single Sign-on.
