Get a 4-6 pin cable. Sony says 4-4 pin because Sony's computers have 4-pin connectors. Since you have a 6-pin connection on your Mac, you'll be all set with a 4-6 pin cable.

You can get a 4-6 pin cable for way cheaper through eBay or another mail-order method. Someone on your local Craigslist may be selling one for 5 or 6 bucks.
