Cable mess what to do..?

Ok here is my problem, I have a LOT of things hooked up to my Mac setup.
Just as an example I have the following setup:
DVI cable, Powercable, Ipod/iPhone Charging USB cable, USB to USB HUB cable, Speaker cables
For me this is a few cables too many. I have gottan a cordhog (only one) from the office and its pretty nifty but is there a proper solution ?

What do you guys do?

I get mine from the local hardware store and they sell them up to 10M.

But yeah i cut mine to fit

You don't need to buy the whole carton, Most electrical departments have them in 3' foot sections. I used sticky back tape to mount it on my desk.
