  1. For those who use Firefox, what do you have your MB limit set at for Cached Web Content?
  2. How often should I clear this? (Sorry, I'm a basic user.)
  3. How do you determine how many MB this should be set at?
  4. Do you have the box checked or "Override Automatic Cache Management"?

I have mine set to the default which I believe lets Firefox manage it automatically. Clearing your browser cache and history isn't nearly as important as what it used to be with the improvements in processors and increased storage space availability as it doesn't slow your computer down that much.

If I had to set a fixed amount I'd likely go with 500 MB - 1024 MB, depending on what you feel comfortable with. If you feel like clearing it on some sort of schedule I'd say maybe once a month or two, but you really don't need to go out of your way to do this all the time.

I hope that helps and have a great day. :)

Thanks for the advice. Mine is set at the default (350MB). Whenever I check it, it's usually at capacity. Being a very basic computer user, and not very tech savvy, I just don't know how much I should allow, or what it means when it's full.

In theory it should be automatically deleting the oldest cached content as it becomes full, but if you find you're hitting that limit frequently by all means increase it a bit. It won't hurt anything. :)
